Meredith Jones is best known for creating industry-leading hedge fund research. She currently serves as director of the Rothstein Kass Institute, an alternative investment think tank at the professional services firm Rothstein Kass (RKCO). During her tenure at RKCO, she created the first-ever Women in Alternative Investments Hedge Fund Index to measure the outperformance of female hedge fund and private equity managers. Over the years, Meredith has published research on hedge funds, emerging managers, women- and minority-owned funds, private equity and venture capital, indexing, portfolio construction, and more. She has presented her original research and insights to industry participants around the world and has had her findings published in books, journals, industry publications, and international major media outlets, including the Economist, the New York Times, CNBC, the Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times, the Journal of Investing, and others. Prior to joining Rothstein Kass, Meredith was a director at Barclays Capital focused on research and consulting within the Strategic Consulting Group, and a managing director (research and marketing) at PerTrac Financial Solutions. She started her alternative investment career at Van Hedge Fund Advisors International, where she was director of research. Meredith currently lives in Nashville, TN.
